The Art of Being Alive

Dan Clark has an international reputation as a speaker who makes people laugh, feel deeply, and initiate change in their lives. Since 1982, he has spoken to over 2 million people in all 50 states, Canada and in 11 countries throughout Europe, Asia, and Russia. He has written seven books and is the primary contributing author to the New York Times best seller, Chicken Soup for the Soul. Dan has been CEO of two retail businesses and currently serves on the board of several non-profit organizations.

In an uncertain world, with economics and technology and outer forces creating constant change, Dan has a remarkable ability to awaken others to look at both the familiar and unfamiliar in fresh ways. He draws upon his passion and drive to move people through the learning process and appreciate the growth that is inherent in new challenges. His programs do more than boost the bottom line. They refresh the human spirit.

"I have never in my 14 years of planning meetings seen anything like it! They loved you! And they loved the way you shared with them not only the impact your teachers had on your life, but also your struggle with adversity and how you overcame the obstacles in your path. A wonderful, wonderful story told in such a touching way by a wonderful man!"
