Dick has shared his inspirational message with
over 2,000 audiences, many of them gatherings of high school and elementary
teachers, support staff and administrators. He blends motivational and
good philosophy with a great deal of humor about human behavior. With
a belief that the meek may inherit the earth, but they will not improve
it, and that challenge does not build character it reveals it.
He invites audiences not to look at their limitations, but to pursue their
possibilities. Education, he believes, is a delivery system for dreams.
"Make Room In Your Mind For The Things Of Tomorrow", a popular
program which deals with the creation of common sense, confidence and
cooperation among the four parts involved in the academic adventure; students,
faculty, parents and community. "Getting Your Anxiety Better Organized",
covers a dozen lessons learned in the home-school relationships, including:
the joy of originating, the power of perseverance, the excitement of enthusiasm,
and the worth of character. |
