| David Zach, one of the few professionally trained
futurists in the United States, encourages his audiences to understand
the choices and opportunities that will help them build a better future.
Dave’s optimistic and entertaining talk is continually updated. From
the information age to economics, computers to work, and demographics
to social trends, Dave takes the audience on a tour of the future, relating
each topic to the world that teachers and students will find in the years
to come.
Dave, who has a masters’ degree in Studies of the Future from
the University of Houston-Clear Lake, has taught college education courses.
He has served on a site-based management council, a school board, and
the Goals for Milwaukee 2000 Education Committee as chairman. Dave is
currently a member of a School to Work marketing committee, and is considered
the official futurist for a local middle school. Dave’s ideas about
future education are grounded in the real world!
