| Mike Schmoker, Ed.D has worked on school and district improvement, assessment, curriculum and staff development as a central administrator in two school districts in Arizona, as a senior consultant at McREL (Mid-Continent Regional Educational Laboratory) in Denver Colorado and now as a speaker and consultant. He is a former middle and high school English teacher and football coach.
He has written four books and numerous articles which have appeared in Educational leadership, Phi Delta Kappan, Education Week and in several newspapers. His most recent book is RESULTS NOW: How We Can Achieve Unprecedented Improvements
In Teaching and Learning was published in 2006. His other books, THE RESULTS FIELDBOOK: Practical Strategies from Dramatically -Improved Schools (ASCD 2001) and RESULTS: the key to Continuous School Improvement is an ASCD bestseller.
In the last five years, he has trained and consulted in schools and districts throughout the United States and Canada. Many of these schools and districts have realized significant, measurable success. He was a featured speaker at the Harvard Principal Institute.
