Wavelength
The Seven Habits of Highly Ineffective Educators

Imagine teaching a multicultural history class in which Ben Franklin’s cleaning person discovers electricity or visiting a teachers’ lounge in which teachers act out their frustrations via the Jeopardy! game.

Wavelength intelligently and humorously illuminates the pressures and challenges in today’s classroom using a style that Teacher Magazine has described as "like an edition of ‘Saturday Night Live’ written especially for educators." By incorporating humor, improvisation and audience participation into the performance, they work to educate teachers on the importance and value of humor and laughter in the classroom. The goal is to encourage dialogue through comedy and provide a basis for communication with other educators and members of the community.

Founded in 1980 by a former high school teacher who sat through one too many dull in-services, Wavelength has now performed for more than 800 organizations and more than 700,000 educators from New York to California to Guam.
